Wemyss Ware® is Scotland's most famous pottery. Hand finished and hand painted in Ceres, Fife at the Griselda Hill Pottery since 1985. Fife is the birthplace of Wemyss® pottery in 1882.
Wemyss Ware has always been proud to be Scottish. It has used the thistle, the ‘flow’r of Scotland’, on many of its shapes and designs. The lovely spiky thistle with its delicate purple flowers is the traditional Flower of Scotland, and adorns many Wemyss® pieces.
