Hand finished and hand painted in Ceres, Fife at the Griselda Hill Pottery since 1985. Fife is the birthplace of Wemyss® pottery in 1882. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Earlshall design is named after Earlshall Castle in Fife, which had a row of elms with rooks' nests. A strong, stylised design, it sometimes incorporates quotes from popular poems.
