The Pottery and its Environment
The Griselda Hill Pottery Ltd is sited in the old outbuildings of the former manse of Ceres in Fife. These lovely old stone buildings have gradually been adapted to accommodate the Pottery as it grew. There is a walled garden with old fruit trees adjacent to the Pottery.

Ceres was in former times a centre for linen-making. It had its own provost and a jail, which now forms part of the famous Fife Folk Museum. The oldest Highland Games in Scotland are held annually on the Ceres village green. There are two village inns with restaurants, and several nearby attractions including antique shops, an art gallery and a local National Trust for Scotland property. These, together with the Pottery, make Ceres a delightful place to visit.
